What is the Short Film Pitch?
The Short Film Pitch is the 2nd Phase of the Script to Screen programme. It provides working professionals with access to business opportunities and professional growth, by exposing them to a network of local and international professionals who will exchange vital industry knowledge and techniques.
It is an elimination competition where scripts are pitched in hopes of securing the top three developmental funding awards from FilmTT.
The Short Film Pitch is a collaboration of local and international agencies who support the development of local talent and the market potential of short films.
Who can participate in the Short Film Pitch?
The Short Film Pitch is open to eligible participants of the Workshops held from June 10 – July 8.
How does the Short Film Pitch work??
It is an elimination competition where eligible workshop participants enter their scripts and hopefully secure the Development Funding Awards by pitching their short film projects to a panel of local and international professionals
When does the Film Pitch occur?
From August 6 – 30, participants enter into a 3 Stage elimination competition and pitch their projects to a panel of local and international professionals. Registration is open to eligible participants from July 12 – 29.

How do I register for the Short Film Pitch? And do I pay to register?
The Short Film Pitch is only open to existing eligible participants of the Script to Screen programme so there is no registration fee to enter. Registration in online and only available via the FilmTT Website: HERE
What are the Development Funding Awards?
Development funding is awarded to the top three Pitches selected by the panel of judges.

2nd Place: TT$10,000
3rd Place: TT$5,000
