Ms Hoyte has over 17 years’ experience as a consultant, trainer and mentor in business development specializing in business processes and is the Country Advisor for the Caribbean Export, Direct Assistance Grant Scheme (DAGS).
As a qualified International Trade Specialist at exporTT, her portfolio as a Business Advisor in the Capacity Building and Programme Financing Unit includes working with diverse areas in the Creative sector; fashion, film, music and animation. She has worked with the Animae Caribe Festival and was a part of the pitch evaluation process for T&T’s contingent to Kidscreen 2019. She is intimately involved in FilmTT’s training and development programmes and provides ongoing expertise on how to improve filmmakers’ business strategies.
Ms Hoyte was also on the innovative team that established the exporTT’s Tobago Exporter programme and is a main advisor in the Cocoa and Chocolate industry, facilitating the growth of the sector.
